Product and Curriculum Development

Most of the skills and training work I’ve done with companies, other organisations and for pubic courses has involved design and development of syllabi and materials for the participants. These are tailor made to meet each clients’ needs.

I’ve also produced and published an ESOL course, teacher training course and supporting audio-visual materials for English language learners in post-conflict situations. This was trialled and rolled out in E Africa as part of a UNICEF / AET programme.

With a team at iLingua (UK) I worked on development of the first EFL course and materials for IWBS and have more recently been working with the British Council’s global English team on development of digitally delivered (web and mobile) EFL resources for students in the Higher Education market. I’ve also run a comprehensive needs analysis for uptake of mobile delivered EFL products for the Nepal EFL market.

In other areas I’ve produced land management guides for communities, project newsletters, blogs and training guides.

Last year I worked with a team of young photographers and project partner, Navin Joshi, to design and produce a calendar showcasing the ups and downs of mountain biking Nepal.
