Research & Consultancy

I have over 10 years’ experience in professional consultancy and research in a range of sectors.

Research based consultancy
My research work is thorough using online and other survey tools for broad perspectives in combination with more in-depth interviews and observation to achieve deep understanding of the core, underlying issues.

My analysis is incisive and logic based backed by intuitive assessment of the critical factors and what this mean to you as a client and key stakeholders.

The report you’ll receive is crisp, concise and coherent providing information and recommendations relevant to you and in language / terminology appropriate for the reader group.

Research based consultancies include:
• Needs analysis for education / training programmes
• Monitoring and evaluation of ongoing / closing programmes
• Project proposal development and funding applications
• Audience Development for regional programmes

Organisational development consultancies

I’ve worked with small and large organisations (private, pubic and third sector) to support their change and development as they adapt to fast-moving market conditions, new technologies or apply different internal objectives.

This usually involves three or more stages of support:
An organisational health check: analysis of your current position, strengths, weaknesses and fit to the environment
Development of goals leading to a strategic plan
Implementation: supporting you through the challenges of making small, steady changes that have the ownership of all employees and stakeholders

It’s fundamentally important for you to notice and monitor the impacts of the work we do so we establish a system of measuring impacts that is appropriate and useful for you. For example measuring profitability, sales, performance, loyalty, growth etc

I understand that the approach I take or the service itself may be new to you so I prefer to contract on a step-by-step basis. At the end of each stage you’ll have a usable output, such as a report, a measurable change or new set of skills to put into practice. You can then decide to stop take a break for a short while or continue to the next stage. Most people choose to continue.
